I am trying to change the vor frequency of KTM (NEPAL) From 113.20 to 112.30, Although I can do it in the EasyNav software, I am unable to save it in the scenery folder. I am using the prepar3d SDK.
Has anyone successfully changed VOR frequency ? I keep hitting errors

113.20 is the real KTM frequency.. Anyway, If you want to change a VOR frequency let us know how you intend to do that: inside an existing file? by creating a new bgl file? Also what do you mean by "I keep hitting errors"? A detailled description of your project as well as of the process you underwent is necessary so as to help you
Regards
Hervé

The correct frequency is 113.2 but in prepar3d its 112.30. There is another frequency BDA nearby with 113.2, it is not used anymore. I want to delete BDA and change the VOR frequency of KTM. After I edit the frequency in EasyNavs, i try to compile Database to Bgl but get the errors below Parsing document: C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Scenery\0000\scenery\ktmVor.xml

In short, can you help me with the correct process ?

Yes if I could have a look to your xml source. It seems to be just a syntax problem for the last error Also, you have a duplicate NDB (same Id and region) in your xml that is not allowed at compilation time Not surprizing if you extracted the overall sim data with EasyNavs (see below) Also, why did you have your xml file inside the stock P3D files in the North America region C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Scenery\0000\scenery... Where do this xml file comes from? I suspect (considering its size) it was a full EasyNavs extraction of sim data. If you're just looking at changing BDA and KTM VORs, you just have to manage the NVX08020.bgl in your ..0802/scenery subfolder..not the entire sim scenery data Maybe more simply my BGL Navaid editor will allow to do the changes directly in the BGL file without the need of compiling (a backup of the original file will be done) www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.htmlSelect the default NVX08020.bgl file in your sim and do the changes with it Also my World Navaid package provides updated files for navigational aids up to P3DV5. You can also give it a try Hope it will help Hervé
