Dear Mr. Sors and everyone else, good day!
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I tried the Search engine to figure out, but no results were shown.
I've been asking this in other forums, but got no satisfactory reply yet. Is there a way, in FS2004, to INDIVIDUALLY change (I mean, not changing the whole sim rules by tweaking the Sim1.dll file) the friction of an aircraft so it can gently taxi when in idle WITHOUT alter the whole behavior (runway distances, cruising speeds and consumption) of it above idle thrust?
In other words: can the idle thrust be LESSENED or the wheel friction REDUCED for an individual FDE (CFG+AIR)?
Thank you very much since here.

This is possible (with individual stored settings for each aircraft) using a Lua plugin (ipc.SetFriction, ipc.RestoreFrictions, DynamicFriction.lua) for FSUIPC. However, I'm affraid it is only provided for FSX/P3D. For FS9, the only solution AFAIK is to tweak the Sim1.dll file but changes will apply to all aircrafts. May be you could ask on Pete Dowson forum for a more complete and explicit answer forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/Regards Hervé
