I've noticed that the ILS freq for runway 28R is wrong after installing the north american update for airac 1801. they must have changed the frequency because it it now 111.70 and in my A320 FMS it still says 110.75 and I cant capture the ILS because of it. I have the latest navigraph data. I tried disabling KSFO (I have flighbeam's KSFO installed) and that didnt work. Is it possible to manually change the ILS frequency within P3D so that it gets loaded correctly into the FMS?

Mike. There's 2 ILS on Rwy 28R at KSFO - I-FNP that is a LDA DME PRM whose frequency is 110.75 (offset crs 3°) and with specific requirements - I-GWQ (ILS Cat III) whose frequency is 111.70 www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/digital_products/dtpp/search/results/?cycle=1802&ident=KSFOBoth are implemented in my updates There's a few other examples of some airports with 2 active frequencies on the same Rwy (EDDF is one of them) Unfortunately, some FMSs are unable to provide a manual selection procedure in such cases. As far as I remember, this point has already been discussed on the Navigraph forum. Probably I will have to remove I-FNP so as not to confuse FMSs May be other users may wish to comment this point

oh, becuase every time i try to program an arrival into KSFO with the FSLabs A320, I dont see I-GWQ unless I missed it somehow. However, looking at skyvector, there is no ILS 28R with a frequency of 110.75. there are two ILS's as you say, but both have a frequency of 111.70 skyvector.com/airport/SFO/San-Francisco-International-Airport even in the faa link you provide, all three (there's acutally three of them) ILS's for 28R have 111.70 as the frequency. they must have removed 110.75 with nav cycle 1801 or something because I-FNP doesnt seem to exist anymore. I just wish I knew how to do this kind of stuff on my own. thank you for replying so quickly though. Cheers, Mike

Mike. I-FNP has not been removed even on 1802 as published ahead by FAA 2 weeks ago. FAA is the official source. You may also check eNASR (again an official reference) enasr.faa.gov/eNASR/nasr/Next/ILS/47741FYI, Jeppesen provides the same information. Whatever it is, I will remove I-FNP from my updates because this creates some trouble with automatic tuning on many (but not all) embarked FMSs althouh Navigraph as well as NavDataPro include both ILSs frequencies in their FMS databases

its still not working, the fslabs A320 fmc is still showing 111.70 on the departures and for the arrivals it still shows 110.75 for every approach to 28R. I installed the world nav aids package and all the ILS regional updates

Ok so the reason is elsewhere since update 1802 only includes I-GWQ on frequency 111.70 for Rwy 28R May be another addon scenery or ORBX scenery Could you download my BGL Facility Scanner here www.aero.sors.fr/bgltools.htmland check using the following parameters - Facility type: ILS - Search type: Associated airport - ILS associated airport: KSFO - Scan location: Active sceneries You also may do a check on frequency (110.75) Let me know In case you do not find any ILS on 110.75 inside the BGLs, then it is a FMC problem, not a scenery problem Hervé

ok here's what I got.... searching facility type ILS, associated airport (KSFO) with active sceneries checked it found three records. IGWQ 111.70, ISFO 109.55, and ISIA 108.90. 110.75 didn't show up for KSFO. Although when I am entering the departure from KSFO, the frequency for 28R is correct (111.70) but when I enter the arrival, the frequeny for all the approaches to 28R say 110.70. I've updated my navigraph data (1802) and the FMC shows that the database is current. If it's an FMC problem, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Considering your results, it is now certainly a FMC problem. You may ask on Navigraph forum or NavDataPro forum depending on your AIRAC provider You'll have to precisely describe your problem and especially indicates you do not have any ILS on 110.70 inside the active sim BGLs I already saw some reports on Navigraph forum regarding such problems with dual ILS on the same Rwy If you're a Navigraph subscriber, you may look at those posts www.navigraph.com/forum/search.php?keywords=ksfo+ILSNavigraph support is very effective
