Have installed the Nav updates package recommended by a number of fellow "simmers"... Installed the basic setup for P3D4 and then went for broke and downloaded/installed the various "update" files. I now find that I have a collection of files remaining and being 100% honest I have NO idea what to do with them Files are: Europe Alt files - starting at 0501INT_T.BGL - to - APX55230.BGL Europe Files - APX40180.BGL - to - ATX06020.BGL Military Nav Files - MilFileList.txt - NVX0030.BGL - to - NVX11050.BGL P3D Nav Files - NVX00000.BGL - to - NVX11060.BGL Plus FSX Nav Files - NVX00000.BGL - to - NVX11060.BGL which I probably don't need as I don't use FSX any longer. Would appreciate some (gentle) assistance with this one Thanks in anticipation...

Don't do anything with the extracted files (from the zip). USE THE INSTALLER (exe file at the root of the zip). It will make the necessary backups (if you wish to uninstall), then the needed replacements only (depending on your sim version, and options you will select). Everything is explained in the included documentation. May be time to read it (a gentle assistance I hope ;-))

Thanks for the reply... I did read the docs - several times - and did run the installer. It was after downloading the Regional Updates that I found the "left over" files. Having unzipped the Regional files (didn't see any instructions about that) I guessed that the files belonged to P3D4\Scenery (being numbered in the same style e.g.0302) and installed the files there overwriting as necessary. Having completed the same function for each region I found I had the "surplus" as listed in my original post. I have only checked on one sim-airport (Faro) when it was detailed in the docs that the extra/new ILS was available - and it is! Not looking forward to a complete re-install of P3D4 but I will if I have to Ken

Fine..after installing the update (always via the installer exe), you can safely delete all the downloaded material..full material is always provided at each AIRAC update However, if you uninstall and wish to reinstall, you will need it again. Hope it clarifies. Never make any direct copy/paste in your sim folders

Thank you very much for your software. I had a lot of issues at EDDF, now everything works fine. Merci beaucoup
