I noticed that this update will change airport O68 ICAO to KMPI which messes up everything on this airport. If you want to edit the airport with Airport Design Editor you won't be able to open it because it can't find KMPI and it only finds O68 and when you try to open it you get the error saying airport can't be found. If you leave the way it is I get double taxiways just like in the picture. No matter what I do I always get double taxiways. I don't have anything for this airport in addon scenery whatsoever. The only way to fix it is by uninstalling ILS/Rwy regional updates or delete the bgl file which contains this airport which is scenery/0102/scenery/APX15180.bgl and copy APX15180.bgl.ilsbckup and rename it APX15180.bgl and reload the scenery by going to settings/scenery library and then just click OK.

Hi Idude
It could be a problem for those who have an addon scenery (I expect it could be Orbx) that already defines this airport. Considering ICAO airport code is updated in the stock file (from O68 to KMPI), exclude settings that are coded in the addon scenery do not work as they should leading to the problems you mention (double display). In such a case, the only work around at this time is to revert back the APX15180.bgl file to the original as you did. Of course, you will loose other updates that are contained in this file. Without any addon scenery, there is no problem (you may check that by temporarily disabling the addon scenery you have with a higher priority over stock sceneries).
Now it seems it is not the problem you describe at this time but only an edition problem in ADE
>>If you want to edit the airport with Airport Design Editor you won't be able to open it because it can't find KMPI and it only finds O68<< ADE is sometimes unreliable for analyzing modified stock files since it uses an internal database of sim stock data (this is especially true for ILSs) Did you try "open airport from BGL" menu? If you open the modified APX15180.bgl this way you will find Mariposa-Yosemite as KMPI and I do not see the problem you describe There's also no problem with FSX Planner
If you have no addon scenery, display IN THE SIMULATOR, should also be OK and you will find KMPI instead of O68. Is it?
Regards
Hervé

I didn't have any addons for this airport, I reverted back to that file as I mentioned before. I don't know how many airports are inside that file but if that's the only way to fix it I will keep it that way.

Could you tell me if you have this problem INSIDE your sim or just on looking with ADE as you described before? If it is in your SIM, could you make me a screenshot and ensure you do not have any Orbx product? If it is only on ADE did you check using the "open airport from BGL" menu on the modified file I provide? or using another airport editor because, as far as you have no other addon, there should not be any problem. There's none on my system (no addon) There's quite a lot of airports in the APX15180 file Another way you could help me sorting this out could be to use my BGL Facility Scanner www.aero.sors.fr/bgltools.htmlMake then a search with the following parameters Facility type: Airport Airport identifier: KMPI Scan location: Actives sceneries Do another search with O68 and provide me your results for both

Can you convert APX15180.bgl to an .xml and then manually change the identifier from O68 to KMPI? Then recompile from a .xml to the .bgl. See my post under airport identifiers. I've had to do some work with Orbx airports when the real world ICAO's change.

There's no need to convert to xml, change ID and recompile Just use AIE for that www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.htmlLoad the BGL file (Menu Select Data/Analyze single BGL file) Then go to Airport Editor/Airport Id Editor And change the identifier That's all
