I try to change with Airport Inspector and Editor(P3Dv4) identifier SPIM to SPJC for Lima airport that is included in APX27360.bgl but I receive this message
Some error or unexpected conditions occured while performing Rwy/Apt change [APX27360.bgl]
Is there any way for make this change, because in P3Dv4 this airport´s name in SPIM and now has changed to SPJC in AIRACS, etc etc etc
Thanks and regards

Perfect but just take care to the following: if one day you install a custom 3rd party scenery for this airport, excluding default scenery may not work since the new scenery will look for SPIM. Not finding it will probably result in some display problems. In such a case, revert back the change first (that is rename SPJC to SPIM). Then everything would be OK

Hello Toby,
By now, I suggest you delete the modified file and restore it from the backup (by just removing the .ilsbckup extension) Which sim do you use? I will check on my own system and let you know here but I'm not aware of any problem by now changing airport Id

[Later on] Unfortunately I could not reproduce the error you had I renamed SPIM as SPJC in the stock simulator file (APX27360 in subfolder 0304) and it worked without any problem (FSX-SE and P3DV5) Airport Id was correctly changed in the World/Go to Airport menu, Map and GPS and I was able to locate the aircraft at SPJC (no crash) I just had to force a refresh of scenery indexes in FSX-SE. Normally it should be automatic but FSX-SE sometimes do not reindex.
