Hey guys...
after installing the navdata 2005 i can`t get the "Ground Contact" to the default ATC at some Airports... For example on EDDM or EHAM. I'm pressing the 1 for Contact Ground but nothing happens..
I'm using P3D 4.5 HF 3. Anyone an idea ?
kind regards
Philipp

Hello Philipp
I don't think it is something new in 2005 (no change for COM) It could be related to the introduction of some 8.33 frequencies I will check Anybody else having the same problem or who can comment?

Hervé Thanks a lot... 2005 is not the reason I had this problem also with an earlier cycle but I noticed for some days that the navaids causes the problem.

Ok..the problem is clearly related to some 8.33 frequencies I introduced some time ago EDDM ground try to tune on 121.71 that is a 8.33 channel while FSX and P3D (until V5) are unable to use such channels (only 25 kHz spacing) I will correct that as far as I can in next release

Since the Navdata update I get also only visual approaches from the ATC... not for all but many... is there maybe a correlation ? kind regards

Possibly as stated in the documentation. Considering many navaids and waypoints are updated (either relocated, decomissioned or added), unchanged "stock" approaches may not be any more valid and cannot be proposed by virtual ATC. Don't forget stock data (including approaches) date back from 2006 and many are obsolete.
