Hello, beginning with last (2006) cycle, the installer isn't able to find FSX installation directory and issue a "Sim Selection (none detected)" dialogue. When pointed to fsx.exe directory, it ends with "Invalid folder, unknown or inactive simulator Click Retry or Cancel to exit"
FSX+SP2 is installed on win XP SP3 and installer worked until (2005) cycle.
Thanks for any help
Regards Luca

Ok Luca Just a few questions 1) Do you have another sim than FSX-SP2 currently installed especially FSX Steam Edition (or even uninstalled recently) 2) Could you have a look with the registry editor to the following keys HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0\SetupPath HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0\AppPath and let me know if these keys exist (as well as their content) 3) Could you also tell me the location of your Scenery.cfg file Should normally be for XP in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX but I'm unsure I correctly detect this path in Windows XP..if it is the case, I will have a look
However, I'm unsure anybody will be able to help since there's now less than 2% XP users
Looking forwards

I probably see where the problem is but cannot test the solution on Windows XP In the downloaded package, replace the FSXP3DNavaids_Installer.exe with the one in this package www.aero.sors.fr/pub/FSXP3DNavaids_Installer.rarand let me know if it works with this new version of the installer

1) I have FS9 and FSX installed from a long ago. 2) Both keys exist with same value: C:\Programmi\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ 3) Folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX doesn't exist: Scenery.cfg can be found in C:\Documents and Settings\luca\Dati Applicazioni\Microsoft\FSX\ and into C:\Programmi\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\
The updated executable you posted saturday doesn't work either.
Again, thanks for the help.
Regards
Luca

Hello, I can confirm version 10.2 working.
