When I launch FSXP3DNavaids_Installer.exe it opens up the "sim selection" menu.
Every option is gray so I select "set folder"
Then I navigate to D:/Steam/SteamApps/common/FSX and I select it but an error message appears saying: "invalid folder, unknown or inactive simulator".
Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,
I presume you are using FSX Steam Edition What is your OS (XP, W7 or W10) Which installer version do you use (10.0 or 10.2)? Do you have another sim installed or recently uninstalled? (especially FSX box) Could you check with the registry editor the key containing your FSX-SE path as AppPath or SetupPath or Install_Path (the easiest for that is to use the menu Edit/Find and enter your path that is "D:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\FSX"

Yes, FSX Steam Edition.
I was using V10.00 but now with the new 10.2 it worked. Thanks for the help.
Do you still need answer to the other questions for debug or other reasons?

Hi! after installing the package, please check if the date has changed for any NVXxxxxx.BGL of the files in your sim folder? E/g: You sim\Scenery\0000\scenery\NVX00000.BGL, must have a modified date of June 18, 2020 5:00:00.

Hi:
I cant install ILS/Runway/North America with the installer. It keeps complaining that my path is not correct. I have FSX-Steam and running Windows10. There was no problem in installing WorldNavaids package.

Ok bhasker. Will have a look. More here soon
[Edit] After checking, I don't see where the problem is. Sim detection code is exactly the same as for the WorldNavaid installer. If I understand well, sim is not automatically detected and you have to manually indicate the sim folder. Correct? Is it for both installer? Better to continue privately using my email : hsors(at)hotmail(dot)com Please provide me screenshots. Also indicate in which folder FSX-SE is installed on your system and if possible the registry key corresponding to it.

After installing WorldNavidad in Flight Simulator X it is impossible to create an IFR flight plan.
Failed to generate a valid Airway route. You may want to try Vor to Vor or Direct GPS instead
I use: Windows 7, Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition, Asus

Since you emailed me directly, you now have the answer that is alreafy contained in the documentation..(chapter 5)
"Due to the fact the BGLs that contain airway definitions (not updated by this project except for Europe) may still contain invalid references to nonexistent VORs or NDBs, flight planning usually fails outside the Europe region and may result in crashing the simulator. Loading a sim-generated saved PLN file may have similar effects as well as switching to map view in some areas. GPS display is not affected (except for possible problems with approaches). Note that, this problem will not occur in the Europe region where all airways are corrected."
