Hi Herve,
P3D v5.3HF2. Kuwait Intl has changed its ICAO from OKBK to OKKK this year. I think you may have changed this in an update I installed earlier this year. But I have a problem I can't resolve.
If I open ADE and select Open Stock Airport and type OKKK it can't find it. If I type OKBK it shows Kuwait Intl in scenery\0702\scenery.
I click Open and a message appears saying "ADE has encountered a problem... Airport OKBK not found".
Can you suggest how this problem can be resolved please?

An update... I ran the Uninstaller you provided for the v5 data and the backed up airport files were restored. Using ADE I can now edit the default OKBK airport.
But it should be OKKK. Hoping you can assist. Perhaps an email requesting latest AIRAC data would solve it.

Hi Ray,
The problem is that ADE doesn't always work on the BGL real content but uses its own database that is based on simulator UNMODIFIED stock files. Also true for ILSs ans some other elements Therefore, ADE is sometimes poorly reliable for analyzing real BGL content (except some elements such as runways, PAPIs and lighting) OKBK has been changed to OKKK in the update I provide. You will easily see that in the sim by locating your aircraft to it, but it will not appear in ADE, unless you use the File/Open airport from BGL menu and not the open stock airport..For your information OKKK is located in the APX60210.BGL file that is located in the scenery/0702/scenery subfolder Hope it will help
Regards
Hervé

Hi Herve,
Thanks for the explanation. Having restored the original BGLs I opened the default and added a few extra parking positions and with the Pro Key I was able to alter the ICAO to OKKK. Saved and compiled it now identifies as OKKK.
With no further need for the original BGL I can run your update again but with the latest AIRAC.
I'll send you an email.
